During the second leg of the trip, Pat Kern and Jim Lund met with their alliance partner in Nicaragua.
“We have been working in this region for several years,” explained Kern. “Currently we have three buildings being erected and two more planned for the first quarter, 2015.”
The team toured two of the job sites that are under construction and one building that was completed. All of these are manufacturing or distribution centers.
“The one that is completed is a Korean textile manufacturing operation that totals over 200,000 square feet. In Managua, Draexlmaier, the motor wiring harness supplier for Mercedes Benz, contracted with Presidential to provide their latest 130,000 sq. ft. addition to their manufacturing facility.
This region is experiencing an upsurge in manufacturing, and we are well positioned to respond to that expansion.”
