Client: Johnson Winery
Situation: Johnson Winery’s in Westfield, NY, entire winemaking process takes place in two main buildings. Facing the need for more production space, Johnson sought a building solution that would be cost-effective, fit into the limited physical space on the site, as well as provide an integrated look to match the design of the existing buildings.
Presidential Steel Buildings Solution: A customized pre-engineered building.
One of the buildings was conventional and the other was a metal building. Presidential designed two buildings for the space: one was 20 x 15 x 16 and the other was 60 x 80 x 21 feet tall. The land footprint for the building was not at a 90 degree intersection; therefore, the design was modified to make it fit.
For fireproof and snow weight enhancements, there is a 24 gauge standing seam Zeus Shield metal roof.
Inside the buildings, the interiors were metal lined on both the walls and roof since this is a food production facility.
Renninger Construction Company completed the erection.
